To whom it may concern, Jakob Frilund was the Head of Goalkeeping at Barnes Eagles Football Club from August 2020 until July 2021. During Jacobs time with us he had a huge impact on player development and was an excellent coach to our young goalkeepers. His coaching delivery and knowledge was to an exceptional standard. Jakob has a fantastic attention to detail, he is meticulous in his planning, preparation and has high expectations of the players under his guidance. This attention to detail helped our goalkeepers improve rapidly. Despite being a grassroots football club, Jacob was able to differentiate and appropriately challenge all our players, regardless of ability. In Jacobs short spell with us, he build fantastic relationships with fellow coaches, parents and importantly the players. As a well liked character at the club he will be missed by all. Jacob was a true professional, displaying excellent communication, punctuality, work ethic and earned the respect of all.
